South Australia, Iron Monarch Mine

The Iron Monarch Mine is abandoned since a number of years, but from a mineralogical point of view it was very productive: 164 different mineral species have been described, 6 of which are type locality minerals. With the help of my Australian friends I managed to acquire a unique and fully analysed collection of well crystallized micromineral samples from the mine.  All the photos are from that collection.
